  • Worker Rights at Workplace Fairness –Workplace Fairness is a non-profit organization dedicated to workers’ rights. The organization provides discussion of rights workers have and ways workers can protect those rights.
  • United States Department of Labor — The United States Department of Labor is the federal agency charged with enforcement of the nation’s labor laws. Workers whose employers have violated those labor laws can file a complaint with the Department of Labor.
  • Nevada Labor Commissioner — Similar to the United States Department of Labor, the Nevada Labor Commissioner is tasked with enforcement of state labor laws. Workers may file a complaint with the labor commissioner when they are not paid in accordance with Nevada law.
  • New York State Department of Labor — The New York State Department of Labor is the agency enforcing New York State labor laws. Workers may file a complaint with the department when those law are violated.
  • Nevada Equal Rights Commission — The Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC) is the state agency tasked with addressing issues related to discrimination under Nevada law. People who have experienced discrimination in Nevada may file a complaint with NERC.
  • United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission — The United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is the federal agency charged with enforcement of federal laws prohibiting workplace discrimination. Those who have experienced discrimination in the workplace may file a complaint with the EEOC. Importantly, a person who wishes to sue an employer for discrimination must first file a complaint with the EEOC and will not be able to sue the employer in court until receiving a right to sue letter from the EEOC.
